Whataburger is an all time Texas favorite; loved by many locals & non locals alike. And we've seen other restaurants use Whataburger's design (or name) as part of THEIR look (just look at the Whatapollo spot in Baytown, Texas). However the U.S. isn't the only place that loves the big orange & white W; there are 2 spots in Mexico that also show their love for Whataburger.

The first Mexican "Whataburger" place is called Weroburger.

Just on the other side of the border from El Paso, Juarez has a spot that looks very identical to Whataburger called Weroburger. At first people weren't sure but as it turns out...yes. It does indeed exist. And as we found out back in May, Juarez isn't the only place in Mexico WITH a Weroburger.

The other "Whataburger" you'll find in Mexico is Guataburger

Yes...and if the name doesn't make it obvious that it's trying to be like Whataburger, just look at the restaurant itself. They even got the same colors like Whataburger; same orange & white look and everything.

Of course the big difference is that this place doesn't serve just burgers, but it serves papas, burritos & hot dogs too. According to Google, there's only one address for Guataburger: Naucalpan 6, México, 87497 Heroica Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico.

Surprisingly, there's only 2 "bootleg" Whataburger restaurant franchises I can find online. But judging how popular Whataburger has been, and still is, don't be surprised if you see more than these 2 places pop up in the future.
