Martin Scorsese To Direct Ramones Flick [VIDEO]

The Godfathers of punk will have their story told on the big screen by a famous director and music lover!

The Ramones practically created American Punk Rock music scene. Their frantic style of playing inspired most of todays rockers and made legends of places like Rockaway Beach and CBGBs! Sadly, all the original Ramones ... they went through several lineup changes over the years ... are dead now.

Uber - director Martin Scorsese, (Raging Bull, Good Fellas, The Aviator, The Departed and Casino just to name a few) is in charge. His music based works include Woodstock, Shine A Light, and The Last Waltz. He also produced an incredible PBS series on the history of The Blues and a concert companion to the series, "Lightning In A Bottle"!
