KLAQ’s Most Adoptable Pets of the Week

This week's featured pets are from From the Heart rescue in Canutillo.  Maybe our Las Cruces listeners can come to their rescue and give them their forever home.

Rusty is a medium haired domestic cat.  He's 1 and 1/2 years old and lives in a bush by his human friend's house.  His human loves to pick him up and cuddle, but is worried about him.  The human friend cannot take  Rusty in, but feeds him and wants to protect him.  There is concern that a dog or other human will harm him.

Felipe is a Chihuahua mix who is very active!  He wears out his entire pack of current companion dogs.  Felipe would do best with an active person or family who wants a really cool dog to play with train for challenging activities.

The requested adoption fee is $100 which includes spay nueter, all vaccinations, medical care, microchip, collar, leash, ID tag and health check-up and one month of free pet health insurance (some restrictions apply).
