Josh Duggar Confirms Molestation Accusations

InTouch magazine reported that Josh Duggar, the first Duggar kid, was involved in a sex probe investigation. Apparently back in 2005, Jim Bob Duggar the dad on the hit TLC Television show '19 Kids and Counting', caught Josh sneaking out of a young girl's bedroom. Jim then took Josh to the police station in Arkansas and told them he “learned something inappropriate happened.” The case went no where thanks to the state trooper who took the report. InTouch reports, the state trooper was later convicted on child pornography charges. Hold on, it gets worse.

Someone from the Arkansas State Police Department found out about the report and called the Child Abuse Hotline. Nothing was done again because the the statue of limitations had passed. InTouch magazine got a hold of the police report. The report says that Josh allegedly molested 5 girls starting in 2002 when he was 14. It also states that some of the girls are his sisters. All of the molestation allegations started back in 2002.

Josh Duggar confirmed the accusations to People.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

"I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” says Josh. “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

In the police report Michelle Duggar admitted, Josh never got counseling. He just went to live with a friend who owns a home renovation business. If this story is not bad enough. The comments section of the 19 Kids and Counting Facebook page will blow your mind.
