One Utah high school senior is the favorite of all the girls at his school after he gave out over 800 flowers to the girls at his school for Valentine's Day.

High school senior Hayden Godfrey is one of the most popular kids at his school, at least with his female classmates. The 17 year old from Utah has been saving up his money from working as a cook at McDonald's, a dishwasher at a Mexican restaurant and being a grocery bagger for the past 10 months. To Godfrey, it was all worth it to be able to put a smile on every single girl's face.

Erin Godfrey, Hayden's mother, said her son got the idea back in middle school, when he realized some girls didn't get anything for Valentine's Day. She said her son is a sensitive soul and it broke his heart to see this. Hayden wanted every girl to feel joy on the romantic holiday.

Since then, Godfrey began sending anonymous flowers to a few of his female friends, and from there it grew every year. This year, Godfrey decided he wanted to make as many girls as possible happy for Valentine's Day.

Three weeks ago, Godfrey ordered 900 roses to his home and got 20 of his friends to help him cut the stems. He then loaded all the flowers into his parent's van and took them to his school.  Godfrey worked with the school administration at Sky Valley High School to help pull off his plan. The assistant principal, Curt Hanks, got a head count for how many female students were at the school and allowed Godfrey and his friends to pass out the flowers during the last period of the day. Hanks also said he think Godfrey is an "amazing kid" and that his actions left Hanks "speechless."

In the end, Hayden Godfrey handed out 834 flowers to his classmates. When asked what he will do with the rest of the flowers, Godfrey said he was sure he'd find something good.

Here's what Hayden Godfrey wrote about his experience on Facebook:

So I did a thing today.

Today I passed out 900 carnations, one to every girl at SVHS and it was totally worth it. I don't think anything can compare to seeing every girl in your life holding a flower as they walk through the halls.

Well done Godfrey.
