The El Paso County Sheriff's Office will, sadly, not be hosting their annual haunted house. However, they will be hosting a brand new event that the whole family can enjoy- safely! The Halloween Halloween Light Show and Trunk or Treat will be the new attraction full of lights, music, video animation and your favorite spooky characters.

The drive up light show takes flight on October 29th and runs until Halloween at the Sheriff's Office Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Dr. The show starts each night at 6:30 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. On Halloween, from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., the EPCSO will feature a drive thru Trunk or Treat event where children will receive a basket, candy and goodies! Baskets are limited to the first 300 children so you'll want to get there early! The event is free for all to attend and costumes are highly encouraged!

For the safety of everyone, EPCSO will be enforcing CDC guidelines on social distancing and face coverings which means masks must be worn at all time by all attendees, all attendees must remain in their vehicles at all time and must follow all traffic signs and signals.

Because Halloween will be entirely different this year, it's great to see an event like this held for all the El Paso children. If your Halloween plans involve getting some treats at the El Paso County Sheriff's Halloween Light Show and then heading home- why not make it a movie night and check out my recommended list of "Great Halloween Movies that Actually Take Place on Halloween"! Happy hauntings!
