If you asked me to list the top five reasons for calling out a SWAT team, I honestly don't think I would have put "loud cell phone call" on the list.  Then again, this is El Paso.

The SWAT team was called out March 13th and police say a cell phone conversation is what led to it.  Erik Moises Jauregui was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault during the raid.

Two people had gone to the home, allegedly, to buy drugs a couple of weeks earlier and one of them wouldn't get off the phone.  Jauregui apparently found this disrespectful, tried to smash the phone with a hammer and then pointed an AK-47 at both his "customers".

I guess now we can add "during drug deals" to the times that cell phone use is considered unsafe.  Think city council will pass an ordinance making that illegal like they did for using cell phones while driving?
