All that waiting we do at the doctor's office made this one possible.

Vitals.com provides free info about doctors all over the country. Their annual report on the 50 largest American cities shows that wait times have dropped overall but, El Paso, Memphis, Miami, New York, and Las Vegas have the longest.

For the fourth year in a row, the longest wait time was reported in El Paso at 26 minutes, 21 seconds. Memphis, Miami, New York and Las Vegas were also at the bottom of the ranking.

Minneapolis, Seattle, Milwaukee, and Omaha had the shortest ones and Portland had the shortest wait times of all.

Speaking from my own experiences, I'd say El Paso truly earned this one. The last doctor I visited, a dermatologist near the Q studios, kept me waiting for over an hour. Then, as I was leaving, the staff admitted they knew appointment times weren't going to be met. They don't tell you that beforehand, though.

And that's how El Paso makes it onto lists like this one.
