March 17th is St. Patrick's Day, which happens to land on a Friday this year. This is one holiday that's always really easy to remember for me because, well, it's my birthday. One thing I've never had to worry about is being able to eat corned beef on this day. Even if it landed on a Friday, it was never a worry. But I'm also not Catholic.

If you are Catholic and want to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with some corned beef this year, don't worry. Of the 179 dioceses in America, only TWO have given corned beef a hard no for St. Patrick's Day this year. Thankfully, chances are you don't live in Denver, Colorado or Lincoln, Nebraska.

Other than that, corned beef is good to go for St. Patrick's Day. If you want to double check and make damn sure you can eat some delicious corned beef, Catholic News Agency has you hooked up with the full list of where you can and can not.
