Fernie suggested I do a tribute to NWA in honor of the biopic Straight Outta Compton which is out today.

So, I thought, what if Johnny Cash had decided to cover and NWA song? It's not so crazy. He did awesome versions of songs originally by Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails.

If Johnny Cash had done a version of NWA's Boyz n the Hood it probably would've sounded...a little...NOTHING...like this:
