Buzz Hosts A LIVE SHOW! A Landmark Event At The El Paso Comic Strip

Not to overstate this BUT Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 is going to be EPIC. At 7 pm that night at Bart Reeds Comic Strip comedy club, for the first time in a LONG time BUZZ ADAMS will be out at NIGHT on a WEEKDAY way PAST his bedtime of 6 pm, and he will be HOSTING an amazing show of comedy and music.

That brings me to why this is a 'landmark' event. The El Paso Comic Strip, one of the most historic comedy clubs in America responsible for launching the careers of today's biggest comics, was opened in 1985 and operated since then by El Paso's very own Bart Reed. That is an incredible 36-year journey!

BUT in that entire time, Bart Reed's Comic Strip has NEVER had a band play that stage. That all changes NEXT TUESDAY!  In partnership with KLAQ in order to fundraise money for the charity MILLION KOINS FOR KIDZ, which distributes money to other charities like Candle Lighters, Buzz will be hosting a show featuring 2 comedians (including ME!) and for the first time EVER 2 bands!

Buzz is GREAT at radio. He's very comfortable behind the mic BUT when it comes to going on a stage LIVE, Buzz is A LOT more shy. That's why this night will so fun and historic! See Buzz Adams IN PERSON and on a stage being entertaining right in front of your eyes.

STANDUP COMEDY FROM THE MOSHO'S NICO ADJEMIAN

So as most people who listen to the Buzz Adams Morning Show might know, I'm working, touring, professionally as a funny stand-up comedian (yeah my parents aren't thrilled).  So, I ACTUALLY have a written and practiced routine that you can see me do, instead of just listening to my riff on the radio.

STANDUP COMEDY FROM MULTI-TALENTED ANTHONY AUSTIN BROWN

One of the MOST TALENTED performers to ever come out of the Sun City, "ANT" as he is known to his friends, is a great comedian, BUT also a great dancer and a truly talented singer/rapper.  IF you haven't seen ANT you are definitely missing out. Also, if you're curious about his music then you're in luck because he's performing with his band 'Feline Fox' at the same event!

MUSIC FROM THE AMAZING 'COCO BUTTER'

I've never worked with 'Coco Butter' personally (there's not a huge amount of crossover between comedy and music) but after listening to their Midnight Sessions video ABOVE I'm definitely a fan. They have a relaxed chill-out vibe that I really dig.  If you're a fan of funky chillaxing music then you don't want to miss them.

MUSIC FROM THE BRILLIANT 'FELINE FOX'

A truly special band 'Feline Fox,' whose vocalist is comedian Anthony Austin Brown will be performing that night. I've become a HUGE fan of theirs because I really love their blues-rock guitar riffs AND the R&B/hip-hop-infused flavor.  They'll be playing songs from their first feature-length album that is yet unreleased, so you don't want to miss them before BLOW UP.
