The 70's was a great decade for scary movies! It's hard to beat some of the amazing movies that were made back then, and as movie companies attempt to remake these films to cash in, they're hopefully learning to leave them well enough alone. The remake of The Omen, while a decent film, just didn't do to people what the original still does.

The birthday party scene might be why some parents in that decade stopped throwing big parties for their kids, just to prevent what happened to Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.
