2015 Fiesta Juarez Kicks Off This Weekend

I'm excited because the 2015 Fiesta Juarez kicks off this weekend in our sister city Juarez, Mexico. I went last year and had a blast at the month long festival.
There's a bunch of food vendors and carnival rides plus daily concerts. A Metallica tribute band will be performing at the famous X plaza on Tuesday, Sept. 29. This year a special attraction has been added, The Mega Kind Tower. It's a 262-ft. drop back to the ground. I might try it, but I'm kind of afraid of heights.
It cost $5 in American currency to enter the festival. Last year, I took $60 and had a blast. You can enter Mexico through the Bridge of the Americas Port of Entry for free. Here are a couple of pics from my visit last year. I didn't get arrested. I asked the cop if I can take a pic in the back of his patrol car.
