If you're not ready to venture out into public, don't worry, your favorite booze can still be delivered to your door. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses in the Lone Star state have been taking advantage of the opportunity to sell their alcoholic beverages to go. This has been quite enjoyable for many since you can get your favorite meal with the drink of your choice to go with it. And let's be honest, sometimes I'd like a margarita but I don't want to make one myself. The first phase of opening Texas has begun, and we now know that restaurants will be able to open their doors and allow customers inside. But for individuals like me that have enjoyed the luxury of having drinks delivered, you might be worried the service could stop. Thankfully, that day is not today.

According to CBS Austin, you can still get alcoholic beverages to go even after Friday, May 1st. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has confirmed on its website that restaurants can continue their "expanded to-go and delivery options." There is no confirmed ending date to the alcohol to-go at food establishments so enjoy it as long as you can. You can read more about this on the TABC website.
