A new survey has revealed the worst coffee chains in America, and unfortunately for us in El Paso, Texas, we have several locations around town!

I love coffee. I know it sounds a bit cliché because I work on a morning show, but my love of coffee began way before my 4 A.M. wake up calls. So, while doing some caffeinated research, I stumbled upon this list of the worst coffee chains in America, and I was shocked at first, but also, not surprised.

According to according to TCMA-Conseil, there are seven coffee chains that make the list, they are:

• McDonald's
• Tim Horton's
• Starbucks
• 7-Eleven
• Seattle's Best Coffee
• Burger King
• Taco Bell

As a coffee lover, I can tell you that some of these places don't have bad coffee! Although, I will say, sometimes they are a hit or miss. But, let's be honest, for a majority of these- aside from Starbucks- is coffee really your first choice at these places? Aside from the Tim Horton's and Seattle's Best Coffee, El Paso has several locations of the others and, I won't lie, I have gotten coffee at some of these locations!

However, if you're a coffee lover like me, then you already know that El Paso is here to save you, and your taste buds, because there are lots of better local options for you to choose from!

For those days where you don't feel like wating in the Starbucks or the Dutch Bros line, give these local cafe's a try! El Paso certainly has some great options for coffee, but I believe that when it's made by actual El Pasoans, it tastes better!
