World Atlas Top 10 List Shows El Paso Some Love

World Atlas recently ranked the top 10 ... actually, they did a top 12 on this one ... best places in the lone star state for a certain sport and El Paso made the list. We're top 10 even.

If you are into golf, the 915 is a good place to be.

Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course is a 27 hole, public course located on McCombs in far northeast El Paso. The World Atlas list praised Painted Dunes for many things like beautiful mountain views ... which, I gotta say, are amazing ... it's super low rates and special perks for active-duty military personnel and 1st responders. They're recognized automatically as Dunes Club Members.

If you want to play a few rounds, have a few drinks and not have to drive home ... or if you're from out of town ... there are some nice hotels nearby, some just minutes away.

Quick side note, if you're looking for a new home in a "golf community", Campo Del Sol is being built right across the street from Painted Dunes. The whole community is connected by a cool trail system and offers a ton of amenities like an activity center, a lazy river, a pool with shaded cabanas, a food truck area and more.

Campo Del Sol broke ground in 2021 and is growing/filling up fast.
