Will El Paso Spot Any Celebrities at Tony the Tiger Bowl Game?
The El Paso community always looks forward to the Sun Bowl Games that roll through once a year. It is the time we can enjoy watching out-of-state college football teams play for the big win. Sometimes if we're lucky, we can even get to see our favorite college team play in the borderland.
I know I was ecstatic when the USC Trojans came to play in El Paso, Texas in 2012. It was also my son's first college football game when the Trojans came into town.
I don't recall hearing about any celebrities being around for that game at the Sun Bowl. But I do remember a couple of famous country singers that visited El Paso for the Hyundai Sun Bowl game in 2016.
The celebrities were Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill who had no problem standing on the sidelines and even sitting in the stands with the crowd. A friend of mine Chaz J. was lucky enough to be able to sit just beside them at that game.
He made sure to share his evidence for all to see his rare and cool opportunity on Facebook. But this year, the Miami Hurricanes and Washington State Cougars will be playing in El Paso at the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl game.
If you've done your homework on both teams alumni who currently have celebrity status, then you know what celebrity sightings to look out for. Now almost everyone hates doing homework so I made a little cheat sheet to help you before the big game.
Below is a list of celebrities that attended Washington State and Miami who may possibly come to see the game and scope out El Paso.

The University of Miami Alumna Gloria Estefan did her time in college and even got to revisit years later. She was able to give a speech to a graduating class many years ago. Gloria Estefan, I can see walking around the Sun Bowl interacting with her fans.

Now, as for this guy, he is all about supporting his former college. After all, there is a show that gives us a deeper look into his football career at Miami. If there is a crowd of ladies and some dudes at the Sun Bowl, you know it is probably for him.

Now although Steve-O didn't graduate from The University of Miami he did at least attend. So who knows, Steve-O could possibly want to come back to support his former college right here in El Paso.

As for Dolph Lundgren, he was the man who was a good actor who could actually get you to hate him for his role in Rocky IV. Well, Dolph Lundgren was an exchange student at Washington State University but didn't finish there. But he can possibly come to cheer on this game.
