I grew up in Portland, OR, where we get snow every other winter, with one big snow storm that hits about every 7 years. I moved to South Florida and didn't have to worry about snow anymore. I now live in El Paso. The first winter I was here (2015 into 2016) there was a big snow storm that dumped about 8 inches of snow. It was kind of cool, but also a pain in the ass.

Right now it seems like the rest of Texas is getting snow. Just go to the Texas subreddit and see all the pictures. I've seen post everywhere from Austin, to College Station, to Dallas, to Lufkin. There are probably a lot of El Pasoans who are wishing we had snow here. I'm okay without it. I don't mind the cold, but snow brings a whole lot of problems. Mainly the traffic is going to be horrendous because people here don't know how to drive in it. Hell, they don't know how to drive when sunny and warm outside.

Of course, this all would change if I didn't have to worry about getting to work. If I was able to work from home, I'd be all for the snow. Let's go make a snowman and have a snowball fight! But honestly, it's not like I have really far to if I want snow. Anyone in El Paso can just take a trip north to Cloudcroft or Ruidoso. I'm good with the snow, but let's keep it on demand.
