Ways To Get Your Favorite Non-Profit Extra Cash On EP Giving Day

El Paso Giving Day is here and you can help your favorite local non-profits earn extra donations and prizes through the El Paso Giving Day website. Today is the 5th anniversary of El Paso Giving Day, and organizers are celebrating by giving donors new ways to help local non-profits they're donating to win extra money. Established by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation, El Paso Giving Day promotes awareness about local non-profits and their causes, as well as encouraging the community to donate. October is the month where many Americans will begin their philanthropic giving for the holiday season and El Paso Giving Day is the perfect way to start.

El Paso Giving Day kicked off at midnight, and additional prizes have been awarded to non-profits since the giving began. If you are still going to donate, there are ways you can help organizations get extra funding from the event. Check out some of the additional prizes below and see if there is one that can work with you and your giving schedule today. There are over 200 different local, non-profits participating in El Paso Giving Day so you are bound to find at least one organization, if not more, that has a cause that is near and dear to your heart.

SURPASS THE PAST - $500

Five organizations taht receive a larger number of unique online verified donors this year compared to last will be eligible to win $500 each. This prize will be pulled RANDOMLY from the group of qualified non-profits.

7 PM POWER HOUR - $200

Twenty organizations will win $200 prize each and will be randomly drawn at 7 PM on October 15th on Facebook Live. To be eligible, the organization just has to be registered with El Pas Giving Day.

BROWN BAG POWER HOUR - $1,000

Three organizations (small, medium, and large) that receive the MOST online unique verified donations during the designated time will win $1,000 each.

4 PM - 5 PM TRAFFIC JAM POWER HOUR - $1,000

Three organizations (small, medium, and large) that receive the MOST online unique verified donations during the designated time will win $1,000 each.

9 PM - 10 PM MILK AND COOKIES POWER HOUR - $1,000

Three organizations (small, medium, and large) that receive the MOST online unique verified donations during the designated time will win $1,000 each.

10 AM - 11 AM PHILANTHROPIC PHOTO - $500

All organizations that post to a social media platform (either Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) during the designated time are eligible to win $500. Make sure at least ONE El Paso Giving Day material is represented in the photo (ex. poster, sticker, alligator cutout, etc) and use the hashtags #ElPasoGivingDay and #ArrowheadCenter. One winner will be pulled RANDOMLY from qualified groups.

2 PM - 3 PM PHILANTHROPIC PHOTO - $500

All organizations that post to a social media platform (either Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) during the designated time are eligible to win $500. Make sure at least ONE El Paso Giving Day material is represented in the photo (ex. poster, sticker, alligator cutout, etc) and use the hashtags #ElPasoGivingDay and #TexasGasService. One winner will be pulled RANDOMLY from qualified groups.

6 PM - 7 PM PHILANTHROPIC PHOTO - $500

All organizations that post to a social media platform (either Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) during the designated time are eligible to win $500. Make sure at least ONE El Paso Giving Day material is represented in the photo (ex. poster, sticker, alligator cutout, etc) and use the hashtags #ElPasoGivingDay and #LauterbachBorshow. One winner will be pulled RANDOMLY from qualified groups.

GLOBAL GIVER - $500

One eligible organization that receives a donation from the farthest location from El Paso via IP address will win $500.

NIFTY FIFTY - $500

One eligible organization that receives at least one donation from all 50 states of the United States of America will win $500.
