‘Twerk-Off’ Fight Led to a Woman Jumping off a Cruise Ship

A woman "jumped off a cruise ship during a twerk-off."

A woman fell off a cruise ship off the coast of Cuba during an EDM party while she was in a twerk battle with another woman.

According to a friend, the woman was battling with a woman that called herself the "twerk queen."

Graham Hansen is a friend of the victim and told NBC

'Twerk queen started twerking on [the missing woman's] boyfriend, and it caused some sort of issue between the two of them.'

After the issue, the woman apparently leapt off the ship. Hansen said that the friend who was also involved in the twerk-off is "absolutely mortified."

The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the incident while searching for the woman in the water. The cruise was halted while search efforts continued.

The cruise ship was hosting the "Mad Decent Boat Party," an EDM cruise that left Miami on Thursday was set to go to Cozumel, Mexico. The cruise was supposed to return to Florida on Sunday. Performers on this cruise was EDM acts Diplo, Skrillex, Major Lazer, A-Trak and more.
