Texas has ranked in high on a list of the most affordable party destinations.

Puro pinche party! That's basically the motto for the evening when you know you're about to have a night out on the town. When you're looking for places to party where you know it won't break the bank, look no further than the Lone Star State!

In a new study on Party Capitals in the USA, Texas dominated the list of most budget-friendly party destinations, home to 5 out of 10 most affordable party cities in the country.

When they factored in the prices of a taxi ride, a cocktail at a downtown price, a beer in a neighborhood watering hole, a three-night hotel stay, and combined the cost all together, Giggster found that El Paso, Texas came in fourth most affordable following Tucson, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Phoenix, Arizona.

The other four cities are:

  • Houston
  • Austin
  • San Antonio
  • Dallas

Giggster crunched the numbers and found that El Paso has the cheapest taxi price in Texas and 4th overall in the country. For the cheapest cocktail in Texas, head to Fort Worth, where cocktails are $11 despite missing out on the top 10 overall most affordable cities. The second cheapest is in San Antonio, where cocktails are $13.

El Paso has the cheapest beer in America at $4.02 and El Paso also has the cheapest hotel room in Texas and the 5th cheapest in the country at $144.
