USA Today’s Top Malls List
So how did USA Today decide which malls made the cut? Editors first evaluated shopping centers across the country, looking at a mix of factors like the variety of stores, dining options, entertainment experiences, accessibility, and unique events. From there, readers had their say, voting on which malls truly stood out when it comes to elevating the shopping experience.
What Two Texas Malls Are Among the Best in Texas?
Two Texas malls landed spots on the coveted top 10 list- and each brings something unique to the table.
At No. 8 is Grapevine Mills Mall, praised for its variety of family-friendly attractions that go far beyond typical mall shopping. Families can explore SEA LIFE Aquarium, build memories at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, or let the little ones run wild at Peppa Pig’s Land of Play.
Dining options range from casual bites to the well-known Rainforest Cafe, and shoppers can browse upscale outlets like Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks OFF 5TH, and Coach Outlet. After a day of shopping, visitors can stick around for The Escape Room, gaming bistros, bowling, or catch a movie at the dine-in AMC-30.
Dallas Mall Rounds Out the Top Five
Coming in even higher at No. 3 is Galleria Dallas, beating out major names like King of Prussia in Pennsylvania and Hudson Yards in New York. Its standout feature is the large indoor ice rink that sits at the center of the three-story mall, open year-round and extra festive during the holidays. In addition to the skating, shoppers have access to a wide variety of retail stores and over 30 dining options, offering everything from sit-down meals to quick bites.
Not to mention, the Galleria Dallas will soon be home to an immersive Netflix House!
