Texans Are Bringing Their Farm Animals Inside So They Won’t Freeze

Texans are going to great lengths to make sure they keep their animals safe during the historic cold and power outages happening around the state. The bitter cold in the Lone Star state has wreaked havoc for residents freezing water and bursting pipes, overwhelming the ancient power grid, and leaving many Texans to bundle up till it warms up.

People are taking refuge inside their homes together, but what does that mean for the animals outside, who aren't used to the frigid cold outside?

That's why some Texans have begun taking their pets and farm animals indoors to help keep them away from the outdoor elements. Twitter user Yashar Ali (@yashar) started a thread  on the social media site discussing the drastic measures Texans are taking to save their animals:

"People are bringing their farm animals into their living rooms in Texas so they don’t freeze to death."
