So I have lived in El Paso my whole life but there is a lot of El Paso history that I haven’t learned! If you’re in the same boat as I am, you’re in luck.

The El Paso Streetcar and The El Paso Museum of History are giving locals the opportunity to learn more about El Paso’s rich history while taking a ride in the El Paso Street car for FREE!

The historic tour will take guests around Downtown El Paso starting with a stop at the Convention Centeral Santa Fe and then taking riders to the Henry Trost across from the Museum of Art.

It is a family friendly event and a great chance for the little ones to learn about El Paso’s history!

The event will happen on Thursday, March 24th. Boarding starts at 5:30 p.m. at the convention center stop. If you do plan on heading out  to this event make sure to bring your face masks with you as masks will be required throughout the tour and inside of the Streetcar as per FTS guidelines.

Tickets are not needed for this event as the El Paso Streetcar will be providing free rides specifically for this event.

What About The Weather?

If you're debating on going on this free tour because you're afraid the weather will be too cold or rainy, no need to fear! Mother Nature will be giving us Spring-like weather just in time for this event.

Afternoon highs will be in the lower 70s with Sunny Skys and dry conditions expected throughout the day. We can expect some light breezes but nothing that will ruin the evening.

So, if you have no plans for this Thursday evening then head out to this free event and snap some photos!
