Perry Farrell will be taking his Lollapalooza festival to South American once again in 2014, with stops in Chile, Brazil and for the first time ever, Argentina.
It’s been four long years since Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails have played a live show in the U.S., but all that changed yesterday (Aug. 2) when they hit the stage to close out Day 1 of Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago, Ill.
A couple of days ago, we told you rumor had it that the 2012 Lollapalooza lineup would feature Red Hot Chili Peppers and Black Sabbath — and now we can confirm that the rumors were right on the money. This year’s list of acts has been unveiled, and it’s a doozy.
Looks like Ozzy Osbourne is finally “cool enough” to play at Lollapalooza, seeing as Black Sabbath have been leaked as one of the headliners of the Chicago festival. Also reported to play the 2012 bill are Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Keys, Jack White, Die Antwoord, At the Drive-In and many more.
The legendary rock ‘n’ roll festival Lollapalloza is headed to South America for the second time next spring, and Foo Fighters have signed on to headline. Lollapalooza will make its way to Santiago, Chile, from March 31-April 1, and will touch down for the first time ever in Brazil for a April 7-8 stint in Sao Paulo.
