You know Linsanity has gone to the next level when obscure singers of goofy 80's movie theme songs re-work their tunes to honor the New York Knicks' Asian sensation. That's exactly what happened with Mark Safan, singer of the theme for the amazing 80's basketball/werewolf comedy, "Teen Wolf".
JEREMY LIN'S emergence as a basketball phenomenon has also exposed a surprising amount of racism.
After Lin and the Knicks lost to New Orleans an ESPN writer used the headline "Chink in the Armor." He has been fired.
I guess it's possible that this writer wrote the "Chink" headline without realizing that it could be read as an anti-Asian slur. Possible, but hard to believe.

This girl is either really smart or really stupid. Either way, this is really funny! This smokin' Florida State coed is inviting "Jerry" Lin to be her date at her sorority formal, in part because "I really, really like black guys." It's possible she's that clueless, but more likely that she has really good timing.
Here's a great sports moment -- it's late in the fourth quarter, score tied between New York and Toronto, New York Knicks Asian sensation Jeremy Lin has the ball in hands...BOO-yah! Oh, the Linsanity!
