Superman Actor Henry Cavill Trains At El Paso Gym [VIDEO]

Even Superman has to watch those calories around Thanksgiving!

Actor Henry Cavill, who will play Superman in the upcoming  "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice", movie was in town Friday.  He was on his way to filming locations in and around Deming and needed to work out so, he stopped at Black Flag Strength and Conditioning on the east side!

According to the El Paso Times, Cavill's personal trainer .. Michael Blevins .. and the owners of Black Flag are friends so he called them to see if the gym could be shut down so Cavill could work out in private.

Black Flag geveral manager Nick Quintela said:

"It was unexpected, but very cool." "He's a pretty strong guy. He's very nice, very polite, but trains really hard. It was fun."

No word yet if Batman will be stopping in to try and steal some of Superman's training secrets.  "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters in 2016.
