Study Says Choice of Beer Identifies Sadists and Psychopaths [VIDEO]

Yeah, they'll pretty much authorize a study on anything these days.

This study says people who prefer bitter tastes like dark chocolate, IPA beer, black coffee, etc, exhibit more anti-social behavior patterns than people who like sweet stuff. The University of Innsbruck study consisted of 1,000, 30-somethings who rated different food and drink items from 1 (didn't like it) to 6 (loved it). Then, they were given tests to evaluate their personalities.

According to the study:

“bitter taste preferences are positively associated with malevolent personality traits, with the most robust relation to everyday sadism and psychopathy.”

"Everyday sadism and psychopathy?" What a relief. It's those "only on Tuesday sadists and psychopaths" you gotta watch! If you want to know which of your friends are anti-social psychos, here's a much simpler plan. Bring them all out to Oktobeerfest and see who orders the IPA.
