If you are dealing with messed up streets due to water damage, please give El Paso Water a break.

Pretty much all of El Paso is lined with orange barrels. Honestly, those things should be named as El Paso's official mascot.

Sorry Amigo Man, the barrels are more appropriate these days.

The Texas Department of Transportation has been wreaking havoc across El Paso for a minute now and they seem to be adding projects daily.

El Paso Water has a lot of work to do as well with street paving issues around town.

Who Repairs Streets Damaged By Water?

Water leaks wreck streets and, once the water leak is fixed, El Paso Water contractors step in to repave the damaged roadway

EP Water is super behind on road repairs but it's not all their fault.

What's With The Long Wait For Street Repair?

Supply. There's so much going on around town right now that street paving supplies can be hard to come by. Other things like shipping delays probably figure into this as well.

Labor. The contractors El Paso Water uses are short staffed which has really slowed things done. Don't give up on them though.

Repairs in areas with high-volume traffic are given higher priority. EPWater expects to see improvements to pavement repair timelines with the addition of more paving contractors in upcoming weeks - kfox

EP Water, generally, makes repairs in the order they are called for. So, if you're not in a "high volume" area, sit tight.

They'll get to 'ya.
