"Captain Marvel" hits theaters this coming Friday and the early reviews are in! So far, they're pretty positive and promising on the follow up to last year's heart stopping "Avengers: End Game." But, while the reviews are steadily creating big buzz, it's the cameo that's causing everyone to talk.

As we all know, Stan Lee LOVED to cameo in MCU movies. Even those who weren't fans of the MCU would see the films just to see THE cameo. The cameos are all great, even the ones that aren't part of the MCU. I can't think of a single time I went to see an MCU movie in theaters and the theater didn't clap when Stan Lee's cameo came up.

When Stan Lee passed away in November we all worried that is was the end of the cameos. We all sighed a sigh of relief when we learned that Lee had filmed a batch of cameos long before his death. Now, with the countdown on for the release of "Captain Marvel" everyone is wondering about the cameo.

Speaking on the red carpet of the London premiere, "Captain Marvel" directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck were asked about the cameo when they responded with:

“I don’t want to say anything I’m not supposed to say, but just that it was… we did want to kind of have a moment and tribute to Stan Lee in this movie, obviously. It was something that came from Marvel and when they showed it to us, there was not a dry eye in the house. It was really emotional.”

So there you have it, if you're planning on seeing "Captain Marvel" it's advised to take tissues because it's sure to hit you in the feels! You can check out the whole interview below.
