Earlier in the year, the El Paso Comic Con announced that the originally scheduled event in 2020 would be postponed until 2021 due to the pandemic. The first rescheduled date was for April 2021 but due to ongoing pandemic and travel-related issues, the event was once again postponed.

In January, El Paso Comic Con announced they had a new date and were booking talent to come out for the El Paso event. The El Paso Comic Con will now be held Friday, September 10th through Sunday, September 12th at the El Paso Convention Center. Hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets for the El Paso Comic Con are $20 for Friday, $35 for Saturday, and $30 for Sunday plus additional fees. Tickets are available now through the Ticketmaster website or you can buy them at the box office and save money on some fees. If you purchased your tickets for the original or rescheduled dates your tickets are still valid.

Some of the guests coming to town for the event include some WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and his Dream Team tag team partner Greg "The Hammer" Valentine will both be signing autographs and meeting fans. The wrestlers won the WWF World Tag Team Champions belts and defended their reign for 8 months. Beefcake was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fam in 2019 and Valentine was inducted in 2004. No word on whether or not The Barber will be bringing his shears to give fans a little trim when they meet.
