Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. Loop 375 Frontage Road Project
Mon, Dec. 16 (10 pm - 6 am)

• Loop 375 southbound to northbound turnaround at North Loop Drive closed

RM 652 Full Rehabilitation Project
Mon, Dec. 09 - Fri, Jan. 31, 2020 (7 am to 7 pm continuous)

• RM 652 continuous right lane closure 8.36 miles east of FM 3541 to Reeves County Line
• Continuous 2-way traffic, 1-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 14’ vertical clearance

• Center lane at Missouri from Stevens to Cotton and right lane closed on Cotton from Wyoming to Gateway East Intersection.

Thurs, December 19 (9 am - 4 pm)

• IH-10 Westbound from Copia to Piedras right lane closure with complete Piedras exit closure.

Fri, December 20 (9 am to 4 pm)

• IH-10 Westbound from Sunland Park to Mesa Park right lane closure.

Sun, December 15, - Thurs, December 19 (9 pm-5 am NIGHTLY)

• SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) will be closed to all traffic at US 54.
• DETOURS: Westbound traffic will continue on US 62 (Paisano Drive) and turn right on Loop 478 (Copia Street) to Alameda. Eastbound traffic will turn left on Loop 478 (Copia Street), right on Gateway Boulevard East and right on Raynolds Street.
