Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. West Area Closures

Transmountain Project (Until Further Notice)

• Transmountain traffic down to one lane IN BOTH DIRECTIONS between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park. Bike lane is closed.

Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

• Transmountain between US-54 and Resler complete closure.

Friday, July 17 (7 am - 4 pm) and Saturday, July 18 (6 am - 6 pm)

• I-10 West after Executive right lane closed.

Saturday, July 18 (6 am - 6 pm)

• Executive alternating lane closures.

Mesa Rehabilitation Project (Until Further Notice)

• Mesa northbound between Baltimore and Brentwood reduced to one lane.
• Mesa southbound between Sunland Park and Festival reduced to one lane.

Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 (9 am - 4 pm)

• Mesa at Montana between Desert Meadows and Vista Del Este alternate lane closures.

Monday, July 13 (9 am - 4 pm)

• Montana at Krag intersection - Krag southbound complete closure.

Guardrail Repair

Monday, July 13 (9 am - 4 pm)

• US-54 southbound between Cassidy and Pershing right lane closed.

Tuesday, July 14

• I-10 eastbound between Trowbridge and Geronimo right lane closed.
• I-10 eastbound at Geronimo complete off-ramp closure.

East Area Closures

Loop 375 Frontage Road Project

Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17 (9 am - 4 pm DAILY)

• South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound to southbound turnaround complete closure at Socorro Road
• South Americas Avenue southbound traffic detour at Socorro Road

Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 (9 pm - 5 am )

• South Americas Avenue (frontage road) southbound left lane closure from Pan American to Zaragoza Truck Bridge

Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 (9 pm - 5 am)

• Loop 375 southbound right lane closure from North Loop Drive to Alameda Avenue
• South Americas Avenue (frontage road) traffic detour at temporary North Loop entrance ramp

Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17 (9 pm - 5 am)

• South Americas Avenue (frontage road) left lane closure from Socorro Road to Pan American
