June is finally over and July is here but the construction all over El Paso is in full swing to get us to the finish line! Find out what major closures will be affecting your commute this week. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.

SUNLAND PARK

July 23 (9 pm-6 am)

  • Sunland Park Drive at the I-10 overpass CLOSED in both directions

July 23 & 24 (9 am-4 pm)

  • Both turnaround lanes at I-10/North Mesa CLOSED
  • I-10 East Sunland Park exit ramp from the main lanes CLOSED
  • Eastbound CD lanes CLOSED between North Mesa Street and Sunland Park Drive
  •  Both turnaround bridges at Sunland Park Drive will be closed.
  • The Resler flyover ramp to the I-10 eastbound CD lanes CLOSED.

I-10 Connect Project

  • Alameda Avenue at US 54 CLOSED

  • I-10 East at US 54 CLOSED
  • Ramp G connecting I-10 East to Juarez CLOSED
