As Halloween approaches, here is another creepy spot to visit in El Paso.

The De Soto Hotel, located at  309 E. Mills, in Downtown El Paso is supposedly one of the most haunted spots in the entire Borderland.  You can take a guided, nighttime tour of it with El Paso Ghost Tours just about every Friday night from 8pm - 10:30pm.  I asked EP Ghost Tours owner Leon Baker what peeps can expect during the De Soto tours and he said:

On a normal night we see shadows, people sometimes get touched, and hear the occasional whispers in their ears. On a really active night we see even more shadows, hear an occasional growl, see orbs of light, and maybe even a scratch!

Yes, some people have actually been scratched by the De Soto's ex-residents. Baker said tickets are $14 online or, $20 at the door. Space is limited on the tours so, it's recommended that you book your tickets online, in advance.  For more info, check out the El Paso Ghost Tours Facebook page or, visit their website.
