El Paso Animal Services wants to help get as many animals as possible into their forever home during their Empty The Shelter event. Almost all animal rescues and shelters in the Borderland have been dealing with a large influx of dogs and cats this season. During the spring and summer months, animals are having litters of puppies and kittens which leads to more animals being brought into animal rescues.

These groups are now facing the daunting task of finding them all good homes where they can live out their best lives. To help, the City of El Paso Animal Services teamed up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to try and save as many animals as possible and get these amazing animals into their forever homes.

This week from today until Sunday, August 8th, all adoption fees at Animal Services are waived so any financial issues won't affect your ability to give a loving home to an animal in need. All animals adopted out of Animal Services come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their age-appropriate vaccinations. You can see their adoptable cats and dogs on the Animal Services website.
