San Angelo Food Bank Having Open Food Distribution This Saturday

If you live in the Concho Valley and are in need of some food, the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank is having an open food distribution event going on this Saturday (June 6th). Here are the details:

• What - Public Food Distribution from Concho Valley Regional Food Bank
• When - Saturday June 6th, 2020. 9am to NOON (but it could end earlier if the food runs out)
• Where - Concho Valley Regional Food Bank parking lot at 1313 S. Hill St., San Angelo

Directly from their press release, here are more details on this Saturday:

Each vehicle will receive boxes to accommodate 1 family per vehicle. Due to high demand for assistance, to ensure as many people receive food as possible, we must adhere to this policy. For additional food, please contact your local food pantries or contact the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank for information about how to find a pantry near you.

All traffic will enter the parking lot from the North side, facing Southern Shingles & Mayfield Paper Company, and exit on the South side of the parking lot by Harrison Roofing Company. There will be 2 distribution lines in order to move all through quickly and efficiently with volunteers directing the flow of traffic. The distribution will end promptly at 12pm or earlier if we run out of items. Drive-up will be discontinued at that time.
