Rush have announced a 2015 tour, to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The Rush: R40 Live trek will bring their music to 34 cities through North America and according to the band's website "will most likely be their last major tour of this magnitude."

The band will play music spanning all four decades of their career each show and with 20 gold and platinum studio albums, seven Grammy nominations and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, they certainly have an impressive catalog to pull from.

Rush have influenced a lot of musicians during their 40 year career -- Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl being one of them. Grohl helped induct Rush into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, a night he called "one of the most special nights of my life."

Rush’s 21st tour kicks off on May 8 in Tulsa, Okla. and rounds out on Aug. 1 in Los Angeles. Pre-sale for Rush: R40 Live Tour starts on Jan. 30 on Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
