Roswell Welcomes Back Aliens for Their UFO Festival This July
Less than a four hour drive to the Land of Enchantment lies the little town of Roswell, New Mexico. The small town is best known as the site of the 1947 UFO crash and has since been celebrating all things related to aliens and UFO's and has spawned two different television shows.
Coming this Fourth of July Weekend is their 25th annual UFO Festival! Well, excluding last year because, you know, COVID, this is their 25th UFO Festival and is the town's first event to come back after last year's shutdown. As Americans anxiously await the federal government’s planned release of a report that reveals what they know about unidentified flying objects, this is the perfect time to bring the festival!
If you've never been to the UFO Festival, or to Roswell, it's definitely a trip that is worth taking, and one I know many El Pasoan's enjoy each year. It almost usually happens around Fourth of July and always has a variety of activities for everyone in the family!
This years activities include:
- Film and laser shows at the Goddard Planetarium
- Intergalactic Cinema experiences (movie nights)
- Tours of the UFO Museum
- Alien Chase 5K with divisions for each family member
- EDM Pool Party
- Sunrise Hike
- Abduction Parade
- And lots more!
It's truly a unique experience and tons of fun for the entire family. However, for many of these events, space is limited so you're going to want to get your tickets now and make plans to attend the 25th annual UFO Fest in Roswell! Check out more here.
