A&E has announced that they are cancelling their hit show Live P.D. in the wake of the ongoing protests against police brutality. The cancellation comes one day after Paramount Network announced that they were ending their docu-series Cops, which ran for 31 years. The decision was made jointly by A&E and MGM’s Big Fish Entertainment, which produces the series. According to a statement made to Deadline, the network says that there is a possibility that the show could return in the future.

Host Dan Abrams addressed fans on Twitter, assuring them that Live P.D. would totally return, at an appropriate time.

While I was a huge fan of the show as well, I'm for sure going to miss this silver fox, though, Sean Larkin.

Larkin was an analyst on the show but I will fondly remember him more as Lana Del Rey's ex-boyfriend.

And while the show hadn't filmed in El Paso for a while now, some of the encounters just never leave your mind. Like, my personal favorite, where this EP woman decided to make some puddles in the parking lot:

This moment had all of us on the show laughing and we all agreed: that girl's friend is the real MVP. What's your favorite El Paso Live P.D. moment? Fitfam is also doing a great job highlighting some great Live P.D. moments. This one will forever remain my favorite.
