…the truth has been a lot less reliable. You see, the first season of Rick and Morty premiered in 2013. The second season followed a year and a half later. Season three took almost TWO FULL YEARS to come about. Overall, it seems the average length of time between seasons is around 18 months. The new season will debut on June 20th, 2021…so, almost exactly 18 months since the LAST season.

There are so many unanswered questions that will hopefully be addressed in season 5: whatever happened to Beth’s mom? Also, will Season 5 include Rick Sanchez’s origin story? And WILL Rick ever turn himself into a pickle again?

Season 5 of “Rick and Morty” will premiere on June 20th on Adult Swim. You can watch all the previous seasons on Hulu and HBO Max.

Oh…and here’s the trailer for the new season. Wubba-dubba-dub-dub!
