Halloween is almost here and a new report shows the love El Pasoans have for the spooky holiday. Halloween is filled with sweet treats, fun costumes, scary movies, and outdoor fall festivities. There are plenty of reasons to love this holiday but some cities can be safer to celebrate in. The personal-finance website WalletHub decided to look at the 100 largest cities in the United States to see what American cities you can celebrate All Hallows Eve in without breaking the bank. Some of the key metrics the website looked at included the highest percentage of potential trick-or-treaters, the highest percentage of potential trick-or-treat stops,  lowest crime rate, the average price per Halloween party ticket, number of costume stores, number of candy and chocolate stores, and the best Halloween weather forecast.

When looking at these metrics, El Paso came in the top 20 best cities to celebrate Halloween. El Paso was number 17 on the list, before Jersey City and after Sanat Ana, California. The city ranked number 11 on "trick-or-treater friendliness," ranked number 12 for "Halloween weather," and ranked 79th for "Halloween fun."
