Red Hot Chili Peppers Promise Early Ending To Super Bowl Half Time Show

These guys are known for for pulling some pretty funny stunts, guess what they're up to this time!

The recent Grammy snub of Trent Reznor apparently inspired the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're doing the half time show during Sundays Super Bowl and they have a plan to guarantee they get cut off also!  (No, they're not wearing the socks.  I don't think ...) Drummer Chad Smith said they would do the live version of Zeppelins "Dazed And Confused" which, being about 30 minutes long, would carry them over their allotted time and force a cut-off!

Relax, it was a joke.  Some people bought it though prompting another quote from Chad:

A new RHCP single recently leaked, but it was another joke, being nothing more than a collection of RHCP hooks and riffs.
