Another dispensary is opening just feet away from the Texas-New Mexico state line.

Recreational use of marijuana is illegal in Texas, but it's not illegal in the state of New Mexico. It is definlty illegal to bring marijana across state lines - so make sure not to do that.

Ok, back to the newest (legal) addition to the New Mexico dispensary life.

If you've driven through Sunland Park recently, you've probably noticed what is essentially cannabis row just across from Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino.

The latest addition to the area is a place called Elevation 3789'. The dispensary is located at 1999 Futurity Drive, just a stone's throw from the other locations and the racetrack.

The company is based out of California, but it is now expanding to New Mexico - and conveniently close to El Paso, where again it is ILLEGAL to possess or consume cannabis.

Elevation 3789' "aims to provide residents and visitors with a premium experience, offering a diverse range of high-quality products and a welcoming atmosphere."

According to a news release, the company says customers will get a personalized experience with customized recommendations and guidance.

"We are thrilled to be opening our doors in Sunland Park," said General Manager Justin Sayklay. "Our mission is to create a welcoming and informative environment where both seasoned cannabis enthusiasts and newcomers can explore and discover the benefits of this incredible plant."

The new dispensary is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. You must be 21 or older with a valid ID.

According to the website, you can receive a 5% discount every time you order online and do "Express Pickup."

You can also get $5 off just for signing up for their loyalty program, which includes exclusive access to member-only discounts every month, VIP entrance to limited-time flash sales and special rewards when you refer friends.
