New El Paso Ice Cream Shop Will Employ A Special Needs Staff

A new ice cream shop coming to El Paso will have special flavors and a very special group of employees!

I've always been a strong supporter of local bands and that has evolved into me being a fan of ANYTHING local. I love watching local bands, businesses and artists succeed but, I really want to see this place take off.  Howdy Homemade ice cream, which trains and hires people with Down Syndrome and Autism, is set to open two El Paso locations.

Even better, they are using some of the money they make to fund the Every Little Blessing local preschool, 7930 N. Mesa, which educates children with Down Syndrome.  Learn more about them here.

They have not yet picked locations for the two El Paso shops but, watch for that info to be coming soon.  Then, go there for your ice cream fix and help them continue to help others!
