Naked Man Carjacks FedEx Truck, Can’t Drive Stick and Runs Away

A California man was arrested after carjacking a FedEx truck naked. Well, at least attempting to.

Nineteen-year-old Albert Luna of Coachella, Calif., got into a FedEx truck while the driver of the vehicle was removing a package from the rear of the vehicle around 7 p.m. on Saturday. The vehicle was parked outside of a home in Coachella when Luna demanded the keys from the driver.

Not wanting to get into a fight with a naked man (at least, I assume) the driver handed over the keys and ran to a nearby home and reported the carjacking. Luna then started the truck but then couldn't get the vehicle to drive, because he didn't know how to drive stick shift. He then jumped out of the truck and ran away on foot.

Still naked.

Still don't know why he was naked either. Neither do police.

Alberto Luna was described to police by the FedEx driver as “a Hispanic male adult, 18-20 years, thin build, short hair, and not wearing any clothes.”

Albert Luna was arrested the next day and charged with carjacking. He is currently being held at the Riverside County Jail.
