Believe it or not, Texas has seen some wild & insane things falling out of the sky. From creatures to celestial stuff from outer space, we've seen it happen and we STILL can't believe this happened...

It once rained fish in far East Texas

In late 2021, Texas once experienced the phenomenon known as "animal rain"; a real-life phenomenon where living, flightless creatures will fall from the sky. Usually, it's due to storms or tornado activity.

On December 29, 2021, the town of Texarkana saw this happen when fish rained 4 miles across the town. However, this was NOT due to rain -- it was thanks to birds...a LOT of birds. Of course, something THIS crazy made the news, and the footage of this happening still baffles people today.

A woman was once attacked by a falling snake in Texas

Speaking of birds & creatures, a woman from Silsbee was attacked by both a falling snake AND a hawk at the same time on July 25, 2023. We've covered this story before but if you want to watch this woman tell her story, you can hear all about it here. Needless to say... it still sounds like nightmare fuel to me.

Texas has also seen various accounts of space debris & unknown material dropping from the sky

Yes, probably the most well-known thing to fall out of the sky in Texas are parts from the outer reaches of space. We've seen it happen in San Antonio, Amarillo & even El Paso. Sometimes it might be an object like a meteor, a comet, or something mechanical like pieces of a space satellite breaking up in the sky. Regardless of what it is, it's still a sight to see.

Let's also not forget about the SpaceX rocket that was launched (and exploded) after taking off in Boca Chica, Texas. Not once, but twice in 2023.

Next time you look up, have your camera ready. Because you never know what could be falling out of the sky over Texas next...
