Metallica Live In Texas: Houston Show Announced For M72 Tour

Yes the news came out earlier today that Metallica is adding more tour dates to their M72 World Tour & Texas IS announced to be on their 2025 leg of the tour. However...Metallica is going to be only ONE city in the Lone Star State.

Which Texas city will Metallica play in for 2025?

As Metallica posted on their website, the extended 2025 leg of the M72 World Tour will kick off in Las Vegas on April 12. As we scroll down to the bottom of the list of dates, we can see our Texas date: Houston, Texas on June 14th at NRG Stadium. It's also noted that Suicidal Tendencies & Pantera will open up for the show.

As we mentioned this is the only Texas date they've included for 2025, so if you want to see them again (or you missed them when they were in Texas), you'll have to plan that road trip.

I know in El Paso, the Houston date is quite the drive; in fact the Denver tour date might be easier since it's actually closer. So yeah...if we want to see Metallica live, you might want to start to saving up. The last time Metallica came to town was on February 28, 2019 at the Don Haskins Center, over 5 years ago. So far we have to wait a little bit longer for the boys to return...

Metallica DID play another Texas city during the M72 World Tour

Arlington was the only other Texas city to see Metallica during the M72 World Tour; they played at AT&T Stadium on August 18th & the 20th.
