Lamb of God surprised everyone this morning by making the surprise announcement that they will be going on tour with Killswitch Engage in 2022. Their previous tour with Megadeth was called the "Metal Tour of the Year" so you would expect this tour to be even BETTER. Along with the announcement of the new tour, the name of the new album has been announced as well: Omens will be released Oct 7th & a new single "Nevermore" will drop this Friday.

The "Omens" 2022 Tour kicks off in Brooklyn, NY September 9th & runs all the way finishing up in Irving, Texas October 20th. The date that we're excited about is October 16th: El Paso Texas, inside the UTEP Don Haskins Center. Lamb of God & Killswitch Engage will be joined with their friends in Animals As Leaders & Fit For An Autopsy.

As we know, Lamb of God is no stranger to El Paso: they opened up for Megadeth here in August 2021 & at least 5 other times between 2003 - 2019.

It's been a while since Killswitch Engage has come to El Paso; the last time was nearly 10 years ago, 2013 at the Socorro Entertainment Center. Which in turn was 10 years after the last time they were here. In total: twice in 2003 & once in 2002.

As for Animals As Leaders, they have never come to El Paso (so this will be their first time rocking here). Fit For An Autopsy HAS come around town quite a few times; a total of 6 times between 2012-2019.

The tickets go on sale this Friday, June 10th at 10am on Lamb of God's official website. There's also Citi Bank cardmember pre-sales starting Tuesday, June 7th at 10am through Thursday, June 9th 10pm local time. Listen all this week to 95.5 KLAQ between June 6th & June 10th during the Buzz Adams Morning Show, Veronica's shift & my shift for your chance to win tickets before they go on sale this Friday.

You will also have a chance to win a pair exclusively through the KLAQ app. App contest only available until July 14th at 11:59 p.m.
