A local filmmaker will finally see his project hit the big screen.

Save Me, a film by Christopher Jones, will see it's big-screen debut Tuesday, March 4th, at AMC East Pointe 12. (Located at 8300 Gateway East, right next to Barnett Harley Davidson.) In addition to snacks and soft drinks, AMC also has a full bar.

Save Me was filmed in El Paso and its plot centers on domestic violence, something far too many people must deal with every day. The summary posted at IMDb says the main character is "Arkin":

... a former cop who has lost his mother, father and recently his wife to domestic violence. With 11 years on the force, Arkin decides to take a leave and establish a new form of justice...his way. Until the unfathomable happens; the man responsible for his wife's death is released from prison. All eyes are on Arkin...what will be his next step?
